George Randall Ward, 64, of Portland passed away Wednesday July 10, 2024.
Per his wishes, no services will be held.
George was born on February 23, 1960, in Columbia, the son of Kenneth and Bessie (Gotcher) Ward.
George married Barbara Lord on December 17, 2010. And the love they share will continue, as even death can’t break that bond.
Along with his wife Barbara, George is survived by his children; Christopher Lynn Ward of Rolla, Mary Michelle Ward (Lee) of Grand Rapids, MI, Matthew Paul Ward (Leah) of Aimes, IA, and Heather Renee Sexton of Moberly. As well as his siblings, Debbie Calvert, Nelda Beamer, Kenneth “Spook” Ward (Joyce); 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
George was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Larry Ward, brothers-in-law, Johnny Beamer and Robert Calvert.
George enjoyed hunting, fishing, and nature in general. There wasn’t a tree, flower or bird he couldn’t name. Along with a list of projects he was always working on.
