Hallsville Indians golf back on the course

The Hallsville varsity golf team was back in action Monday.  They competed in the Father Tolton Invitational at Columbia Country Club.

The field consisted of 15 teams from across mid-Missouri and the St Louis region.

Approximately 75 golfers took on the demanding layout at CCC.  Christian Rischer from Father Tolton won the event with a score of 77.  Garrett Klenke from Union High School shot 78, which was the only other score in the 70’s.

Logan Cox from Hallsville finished tied for 8th place with a score of 85, which earned him medalist honors.  The HHS team had a total score of 414.  The Indians’ next event is Wednesday in the Southern Boone Tournament at Eagle Knoll Golf Club.

The rest of the team shot: Weston Grant 106, Garrett Scheetz 109, Brock Baumgartner 114 and Harrison Fowler 121 , with a team score 414, placing 11th out of 15 teams.
