Monday, October 14 the Hallsville Indians volleyball team hosted Montgomery County in a non-conference match. The Indians, in Head Coach Monica Melton’s words, scraped by with a 26-24 first set win, then struggled in the second set, which they lost, 19-25, forcing a deciding set.
The Indians jumped out to a quick 11-1 lead in the third set which energized them and put them in control of the set, winning 25-18 and winning the match 2-1.

- Jade Melton – 15 Kills
- Fiona Burke – 22 Assists
Previously, Thursday, Oct. 10, Hallsville traveled to Osage for a Tri-County battle of the Indians. Osage was defensively sound and Hallsville struggled with hitting errors throughout the night, but Hallsville was able to upset Osage in three: 24-26, 25-22, and 25-21.

Tuesday, October 8, the Indians traveled to Jefferson City to face the 2018 Class 1 Runner’s-up, the Calvary Lutheran Lions. The Indians dominated the first set early and were able to keep control throughout the game winning in two, 25-16 and 25-18.
