Centralia takes win from Kirksville, 52-39 in the semifinal round.
Plays Moberly for championship
The Centralia Lady Panthers are headed for the championship.
Thursday, March 2, they beat Kirksville in the semifinal round and will play Moberly for the district championship, 1 p.m., Saturday at Centralia High School’s Jim Enlow Court.
The Lady Panthers got off to a slow start, which Head Coach Megan Brinkmann attributed to a nine-day layoff.
Kirksville started strong and took the first quarter, 15-9.
Fromt there it was all Centralia. They led going into halftime, 25-19,and took finished the third quarter up 10, 41-31.
Harper Sontheimer led Centralia with 13 points, followed by Raegan Anderson with 10 and Annie Robinson with 9.
