Donald W. Dean, 82, Centralia, MO passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at his home. He was born May 8, 1940, in Mexico, MO the son of the late Paul and Imogene (Millhollin) Dean. On September 18, 1999, he was united in marriage to Vicki (Helwig) Dean.
In addition to his wife Vicki of 23 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons Michael Dean and his wife Cindy of Lenoir City, TN and Daniel Dean of Lenoir City, TN; two daughters Heather Greening of Mexico, MO and Alicia Underwood and her husband Anthony of Hallsville, MO; one brother Delvin Dean and his wife Janice of Renick, MO; one sister Mary Ann Bloss of Centralia, MO; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, his son Steven R. Dean and his former wife Patricia Dean preceded him in death.
Don was a 1958 graduate of Mexico High School and worked for MFA Agricultural Services where he retired in 2007. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and was a member and the current president of Public Water District #10 since 2017. He enjoyed farming, fishing, camping, cook outs, old tractors, telling old stories and loved spending time with his family and friends. Don was a simple man, with a heart of gold. He could be onery but would do anything for anyone at any time.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Interment will be in Glendale memorial Gardens in Centralia, MO. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, September 23, 2022, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO.
