Grace Davenport

Grace June Davenport, 84 of Centralia died Friday, July 1, 2022, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia, with burial to follow in the Centralia City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Grace was born on June 17, 1938, the daughter of William and Eula (Woolery) Eaton in Centralia.

Grace was a 1956 graduate of Centralia High School.

On October 5, 1958, in Centralia, Grace was united in marriage to Kenneth Davenport, and he preceded her in death on March 2, 2018.

Grace is survived by sons, Kent Davenport and wife Gale of Gilbert, AZ, and Karl Davenport and wife Carol of Wardsville; grandchildren, Adam Davenport and wife Emily of Littleton, CO, Eric Davenport of Gilbert, AZ, and Courtney Buschjost and husband Garrett of Wardsville; great-grandchildren, Lillian Grace Davenport, Rhett Buschjost, and two more great grandchildren arriving later this year; brother-in-law, Howard Davenport and wife Janet of Centralia.

Along with her husband Kenneth, Grace was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Charlotte Burton, Leota Davenport, Dorothy Smith, Billie Eaton, and Barbara Wickell.

Grace was a member of the First Christian Church in Centralia.

She was an excellent cook and enjoyed looking through recipe books. She loved reading, getting together with her neighbors, and classmates, but most of all her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. She was an amazing mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
