Hallsville boys basketball loses to Kirksville, 60-69

It was a tough night to be a Hallsville Indian in Moberly.

The Indians came up short against the Kirksville Tigers and returned to Hallsville with the second-place plaque.

It was a competitive game, especially in the first quarter, which saw the teams tied several times, but Kirksville eventually won all four quarters, 17-12 in the first, 30-23 at halftime, 48-35 at the end of the third and they finished the Indians to move on to the sectional round next Monday night.

Isaac Stinson led Hallsville with 18 points, backed up by Colton Garner with 13 and Zach Jouret with 10.

Cole Kelly led Kirksville with 23.
