State Farm staffers speak out
The chant echoed from all four sides of the Centralia City Square Park, “no more!”
Four women in matching shirts marched together around the square the morning of March 9.
Besides wearing matching black T-shirts emblazoned with the “NO MORE” logo, each carried an 8×10” sign. Some said “No More Lies,” others said “No More Tears.”

They were commemorating the “No More Week Virtual 5K,” a nation-wide event sponsored by State Farm and the National Football League.
Marsha Wulf was one of the marchers.
“I am doing this to raise awareness of domestic assault and sexual violence,” she said walking in the spring morning sunshine, holding a sign that said “No More Tears.” “People don’t realize how many people actually go through it, and it’s not just women, it is men too.”
Their concerns are backed by facts.
NO MORE partnered with the Avon Foundation for Women to conduct two NO MORE studies, examining the attitudes of teens and young adults toward domestic violence and sexual assault. The research, disseminated in March and September of 2014, uncovered that three in four parents, 73 percent, have not talked to their children about domestic violence or sexual assault and that 64 percent of Americans say that if we talk more about these issues, it would make it easier for them to help someone.
