Phyllis Faulks, 79, Eldon, MO passed away Monday, May 2, 2022, at the Capitol Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, MO. She was born January 5, 1943, in Oskaloosa, IA the daughter of the late Phillip Gunnar and Elsie Mae (Baker) Gunnar. On July 31, 1965, she was united in marriage to William “Bill” Faulks who preceded her on death April 23, 2022.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter Michelle Oliver and her husband Ken of Salina, KS; one son Matthew Faulks and his wife Diana of St. Louis, MO; three grandchildren Brady, Logan, and Henry; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, one grandson Connor Oliver preceded her in death.
Phyllis worked as a schoolteacher in the Albia Community School District teaching a number of different subjects during her career. Phyllis loved the outdoors and enjoyed working in her large garden and tending to flowers and plants. She loved animals and had horses much of her life. She enjoyed going to the Lake of the Ozarks, boating, and spending time with her family.
