Initial and unofficial Centralia-area local election results

With all 47 Boone County precincts reported  here are the unofficial results for some of the Centralia-area elections.

In Boone County, Proposition 1 passed, 13,928 to 6,430.

In Centralia, Proposition U failed, 274 to 222.

In Hallsville, Proposition U failed, 76-68

In the race for Centralia Ward I alderman, Harold Deckerd beat Stephen Villarreal, 116-43.

Donnie Rodgers, running unopposed, won the Ward II seat with 197 votes.

Landon Magley, running unopposed, won the Ward III seat with 88 votes.

In the Centralia School Board race, Kristin Deckerd and Rusty Dutton won  the two open sets.

Deckerd, including Audrain and Monroe County votes had 711 votes. She had 123 in Audrain and none in Monore.

Dutton, including Audrain and Monroe County votes had 605. Dutton had one vote in Monroe County and 104 in Audrain.

Wayne Dollens, including Audrain and Monroe County votes had 149. He had 34 votes in Audrain and none in Monore.

There were 227  undervotes in the Centralia School Board race.

In Hallsvile, Kate Boatright is the new mayor with 116 votes.

Philip Thunhorst beat Trynton Roberts by one vote, 22-21 for the Ward 1 alderman  seat.

Krisan Lews beat Tony Lindsay, 54-30 for one of the Ward II alderman  seats. Brandon Bickhaus was unopposed and won the other Ward II seat with 67 votes.

In the Sturgeon School Board race, Veronica Baker received 146 votes. There were 189 write-in votes. No further information is available at this time.

In Boone County Proposition 1 passed, 13,928 to 6,430.
