Jay was preceded in death by his parents, and two siblings, Omar Guinnip and Roberta Guinnip.
Jay was a very proud, lifetime member of the Centralia VFW post 6276, and was very involved with the Centralia Avenue of the Flags.
Jay retired from Hubbell Powers Systems, and then went to work at Prenger’s Grocery Store, which was his favorite job.
Jay enjoyed spending time at home with his family, watching any John Wayne movie, and every episode of Gunsmoke, at least three times, tinkering with various projects, and sitting on his front porch with his dogs, visiting with neighbors and friends. Jay was a great listener, he always told Sandy, “If you have something to say, I’m Listening”.
