Centralia loses to Moberly, 43-41
It was a heart breaker, at least for Centralia fans.
Moberly scored first, and barely more often. Just enough to end the Lady Panthers’ best season since 1978, and leave Centralia’s Lady Panthers Basketball team holding a second-place district plaque.
Centralia led the first half, winning the first quarter 11-8 and the second 16-14.
Moberly eked ahead in the second, taking the third quarter 22-26 and finishing the game 43-41.
Jozelynn Bostick led Centralia with nine points. Ragaen Anderson and Annie Robinson backed her with eight each. Braylin Brunkhorst scored six and Harper Sontheimer, five.
Asa Fanning led Moberly, and the game with 11.
