Lannie Julius Patton

Lannie Julius Patton, 86 of Centralia passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Boone Hospital in Columbia.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM Monday, September 9, 2024, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Centralia, with burial to follow in Glendale Memorial Gardens.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, September 8, 2024, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 PM at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia.

Lannie was born on October 10, 1937, in Mexico, MO, the son of Thomas L. and Gladys Mae (Ward) Patton.

On August 19, 1961, in Centralia, MO, Lannie married Mary Houser, and she survives of the home.

Along with his wife Mary, Lannie is survived by his children, Devona Patton of Columbia, Carlray (Penny) Patton of Broken Arrow; grandchildren, Jacob Surber, Laney Patton, and Luke Patton; sister, Mary Lewis of Centralia; sister-in-law, Eileen Patton of Centralia, two nieces.

Lannie was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Thomas W. Patton.

Lannie was a past fire chief for several years serving the Centralia Fire Department.  He enjoyed golfing and riding his golf cart around town.  Lannie loved to mow and was very proud of his yard.  He worked for A.B. Chance Company for 41 years.

The family would like to thank the staff of Columbia Post Acute for all of their kindness and care.
