Larry G. Harmon

Larry G. Harmon, 84, Hallsville, MO passed away Monday July 3, 2023, at Heritage Hall in Centralia, MO surrounded by his family. He was born May 18, 1939, in Columbia, MO the son of the late Shady and Elsie (Charlton) Harmon. On August 26, 1962, he was united in marriage to Judy (Roberts) Harmon.

In addition to his wife Judy of 60 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children Greg Harmon and his wife Shari of Hallsville, MO, Scott Harmon and his wife Darla of Brownsburg, IN and Steve Harmon and his wife Tracy of Hallsville, MO; two sisters Shirley Smith of Columbia, MO and Dorothy McBride of the state of Georgia; six grandchildren Bradley Harmon and his wife Hiedi, Brian Harmon and Elizabeth Johnston, Blake Harmon and his wife Taylor, Kimie Koehnlein and her husband Jeremy, Kelci Gould and her husband Patrick, and Jacob Harmon; six great grandchildren Benjamin, Lydia, Augustus, Ivory May, Liam and Ben; several nieces and nephews;  other relatives and many dear friends.

Larry served his country in the United States Army. He worked for GTE for over 30 years and attended the Hallsville Baptist Church. He loved fishing, hunting, building and working on computers. Larry loved spending time with his family and friends, especially all of his grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be 11:00 am Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at the Hallsville Baptist Church in Hallsville, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at the Hallsville Baptist Church in Hallsville, MO. Graveside services will be 1:30 pm Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hallsville Baptist Church, c/o Oliver Funeral Home, P.O.
