Larry W. Hudson

Larry W. Hudson, 77, of Thompson, died Saturday, August 20, 2022, at his home.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia, with burial to follow in the Centralia City Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at the funeral home.

Larry was born on March 29, 1945, in Mexico, the son of James W. and Margaret (Garrett) Hudson.

On September 3, 1965, Larry married Marjorie McCowan, and she survives of the home.

Along with his wife Margie, Larry is survived by his sons, Heath Hudson and wife Rebekah of Mexico, Andy Hudson (Ashley Ismael) of Thompson; grandchildren, Lance Hudson, Claire Hudson, Grace Hudson, and Cole Hudson; siblings, James Hudson, Martha Sue Williams (Hugh), Pam Chapman (Jerry), Lynne Hudson.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Jeffrey Hudson, Cathy White, Bobby Hudson, Jerry Hudson, and Mike Hudson.

Larry truly enjoyed spending time on the mower, he loved mowing. He also enjoyed hunting, attending the morning coffee club, and watching westerns. Larry’s greatest joy came when he got to spend time with his grandkids, and watch them in all their activities, whether it was showing at the fair, or playing basketball, he absolutely loved to watch them.

Larry was a past member of the Audrain County 4-H Fair Board. He worked for AB Chance, then worked for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline, retiring in 2000 after more than 20 years of service.

Memorial donations are suggested the Audrain County 4-H Youth Fair Foundation, and may be sent in care of Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home, 104 S. Collier, Centralia, MO 65240.
