Laura Fay Mahan, 92 of Centralia died Friday, May 10, 2024, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, May 17, 2024, at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia, burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Fay was born February 29, 1932, in Callaway County, the daughter of Richard Floyd and Ruth Belle (Reddick) Willett.

Fay graduated in 1951 from Centralia High School.

On December 24, 1955, she was united in marriage to Allen Mahan who preceded her in death.

She and her husband owned and operated many restaurants in Boonville and Fayette as well as the state of Florida. They also owned a convenience store in Millersburg after returning from Florida.

Fay was a precious member of her family and will be sadly missed.

She is survived by her sister Leta Davis, a niece, Julie Ives, two great-nephews, Dallas Davis and Brett Ives, and one great-niece, Dana Ives.

Fay was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Allen.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Centralia Friends of the Park or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and may be sent in care of Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home, 104 S. Collier St. Centralia, MO 65240.
