Melvin Wayne Jacobson, 70 of Centralia passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023, at his home.
Family and friends are invited to Melvin’s Life Celebration 1:00 PM Friday December 1, 2023, at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Melvin was born on December 5, 1952, in Riverside, CA the son of Melvin Christopher and Lola (Dale) Jacobson.
Melvin married Janice McClellan on October 1, 1982, in Centralia and she survives of the home.
Along with his wife, Janice, Melvin is survived by his children, David Jacobson (Kelley) of Nixa, Jeff Jacobson (Laura) of St. Louis, Jessica Jamena (Jerard) of Springfield, Kristen Scott of Kansas City; grandchildren, Cole and Sam Jacobson of Nixa, Logan and Kaleb Jacobson of St. Louis, Noah, Eli, London Jamena of Springfield, Blake, Dalton and Chase Scott of Kansas City; siblings, Chris Durdee, Dale Jacobson, Debbie Ryan, and William Jacobson all of Kansas; mother-in-law, Dolores McClellan and sister-in-law, Anita Shaw both of Michigan.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association and may be sent in care of Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home, 104 S. Collier St. Centralia, MO 65240.
