Nancy Lorena Power

Nancy Lorena Power, 68, of Mexico, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Pin Oaks Living Center.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, at Arnold Funeral Home with Kevin Keeling officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery at Indian Creek.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Nancy was born on April 16, 1956, in Mexico, the daughter of Charles Eugene and Betty Irene (Galbraith) Power.

In 1974, Nancy graduated from Centralia High School. From 1974 – 1977, she served in the U.S. Army as a Pharmacy Technician Specialist. Nancy worked at the Missouri Veterans Home for 19 years as a CNA, retiring in 2017.

Nancy was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, north of Centralia and enjoyed bible studies. She had many hobbies including, scrapbooking, listening to Brooks and Dunn and doing word puzzles.

Survivors include four children, Randell Frank, Robin Nitcher, Robert (Tiffannie) Nitcher Jr., all of Mexico, and Dawn Nitcher of Holts Summit; five grandchildren, Tristan Nitcher, Alliceson Nitcher, Robert Nitcher III, Rylan Nitcher, and Abigail Nitcher; her mother, Betty Power of Thompson; eight siblings, Randall (Clarita) Power of Florida, Sheila (Charles) Marquette of Mexico, Doris Eisenhauer of Mexico, David Power of Mexico, Phylliss (George) Vanderhook of Benton City, Patrick Power of Thompson, Laurie (Dave) Perry of Gilbert, AZ and Martin (Kristin) Power of Auxvasse; sister-in-law, Carol Power of Thompson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Charles Power; a brother, Michael Power; brother-in-law, Lindell Eisenhauer; two nephews, Thomas Power and Micheal Eisenhauer; and great-nephew, Camden Power.
