Last Saturday was the National Day of Pray and Repentance for our country in Washington, D.C.  Thousands of people attended.   Many different denominations came together praying for revival, repentance, and turning back to God.  For the past few weeks I have had the privilege to preach on the subject of repentance. What a blessing it is to see how the Lord is working on things in our world. I believe the Lord is sending us a wake- up call for America to repent. He is asking us to get our act together. There is so many things going on in our world today that are against God. God said in  II Chronicles 7:14 “ If my people, which are called

by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”  It is time for God’s people to stand firm and be strong for the things of God. We have compromised God’s truth’s and His Word way to long by trying to fit worldly things into spiritual things. America seems to think that God marches to our beat so we have the right to do whatever we want.   May I say to you– wrong.  God is in control and we must line up with the things of God in order to move forward.  We all want change but we are going about it the wrong way.   We are missing something. The missing ingredient in this world is not our rights, laws, or government, it is God. Now is the time to put Him back in our lives, and our nation. This country was founded on Biblical truths and to this day we still have them in place but choose to write our own laws. Today, we are so mad at one another, blaming one another to the fact we don’t even see who is behind all of this non-sense.  It is time for God’s people to go to work for the cause of Christ. Turn our attention to Jesus instead of each other.  It is time to stop letting the devil win. Right now he has people right where he wants them, pointing the finger at each other.
