Over the last couple of weeks many have reached a point of uncertainty. Those who belong to the High School Class of 2021 are stepping out into the unknown. They tossed their caps into the air and now head off in one of many possible directions wondering if they chose the correct path. Is college right for them, did they choose the correct school or program? Others are jumping into the work force ready to get on with life and see what is in store for them, but may be wondering if they should do something different? Some are heading off to trade school to learn that skill that will help them be successful and may be questioning if they will have a job when they are done.
Regardless of the choices that have been made, the unknown of what the future has in store can cause anyone to second guess the choices they have made. It can
cause people to freeze, and fear can easily take over. At the risk of saying something you have probably heard many times; you have the rest of your life ahead of you. Yes, there is unknown. Yes, as you travel down the road you are on some of the choices may not be the best. Yes, plans will change, and life will happen. Do not let the fear of the unknown stop you from moving forward.
“Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never allow the righteous to be shaken.” Psalms 55:22
