We have just celebrated Easter and the resurrection of our Lord as well as remembered what Jesus did on the Cross. Certainly we believe that our Lord is Risen and is Alive. However, the message of the resurrection and the message of the cross should not be remembered just once a year.

The message of the cross is a message that should be returned to daily in the life of a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. When I speak of the cross, i am not just speaking of the piece of timber that Jesus was crucified upon. Rather, I am speaking of what Jesus accomplished by his death upon the cross.
For one thing, Jesus paid for our sins to be forgiven and removed by the shedding of His blood upon the cross. As well Jesus made the way for us to receive salvation through a new spiritual birth received by faith in what Christ Jesus did upon the cross. Likewise because of what Jesus did…
