Pastor David Hartgrove, Crossroads Cathedral Assembly of God

The disciple of Christ is a busy person. Busy doing good works of compassion for the poor and those in need. Busy visiting the sick and comforting the bereaved. Busy serving the body of Christ, the community, family, friends,

Reverend David Hartgrove

neighbors, and The Lord Jesus. Busy in the study of the Word of God and the application thereof. Busy in evangelistic efforts to share the gospel and share the witness of the transforming power of Jesus Christ. Busy helping those with addictions find deliverance and new life in Christ. There is no doubt that the Disciple of Jesus is more than likely a very busy person.

However, as important as all the above things spoken of  as far as busyness , none of those should be the number one priority of the Disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. The number one priority of the  Disciple should be and is the discipline and the ministry of prayer. I am speaking of all kinds and sorts of prayer.
