Patricia Overton Senteney, age 84, passed away on February 6, 2022 in Dallas, TX. She was born on June 16, 1937 in Centralia, Missouri to Lloyd and Norine Overton. Pat was raised in Centralia, Missouri and graduated from Centralia High School in 1955 and the University of Missouri in 1959.
She married Harry Senteney in 1960 and the couple had two children. She was a homemaker, mom, grandma, teacher, and volunteer. In her spare time Patricia enjoyed all things music. She served as a Children’s Choir Director at Park Cities Baptist Church for over 35 years. She loved singing in the church choir and playing hand bells. She was a member of the Dallas Music Club. Her family and friends will always remember her as full of energy and a proud grandmother of 6 children. She loved planning special outings when grandchildren visited.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Norine Overton and her brother Friend Overton.
She is survived by her husband Harry Senteney, son Alden Senteney (Kim), daughter Amber Schorie (Jim), grandchildren Autumn and Moriah Senteney, Elyse and Daniel Lim, Dustin, Trevor and Brooke Schorie, her sister Micca Ruffin, brother Lyn Overton, niece Rebecca Mifflin, and great-niece Mikala Atkiels.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Park Cities Baptist Church Music Ministry where Pat joyfully served for decades in the Handbell Choir, Children’s Choir, and Sanctuary Choir.
