The Centralia Square will be a busy place in October. After the smoke has settled and the BBQ has all been eaten, there will still be at least one more big event on Centralia’s city square park. The Fourth Annual Centralia Pumpkin Fest is scheduled for 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 16 at the Centralia City Square Park. Rides, musicians, vendors, games, food truck and pumpkins will fill the menu that day as people fill the square for Centralia’s Pumpkin Fest. Co-organizers Amber Friedli and Robert Wright said they and the rest of the volunteers are pulling together an event that will have something for everyone and appeal to all ages. “Just come out and relax and have a good time,” Wright said. “This is a good opportunity to sit back, relax and get back in touch with your community.” For the complete article, see this week’s edition of the Centralia Fireside Guard.
