Randall Ball, age 66, of Columbia, Missouri passed away on June 12, 2024 at Boone Hospital.
He was born on May 4, 1958 in Moberly, Missouri; a son of Kenneth and Joan (Reams) Ball.
He attended Centralia High School. Randall worked in various rolls for Norfolk Southern Railroad from 1982 until his retirement in 2018.
When Randy’s children were young he enjoyed going to the track and watching horse racing with them. He also was very involved in Nick’s Boy Scout troop. He enjoyed camping and collecting all sorts of items throughout life. He was a huge personality and would make friends with anyone he sat next to for long enough. He adored his cat Charlie, whom was more kin to a dog.
He also enjoyed watching and following the St. Louis Blues. Randy will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Randall is survived by his children, Cari Ball and Nick (Tania) Ball; long time partner, Annette Giles; siblings, Debi Ball and Rex (Susie) Ball and his previous spouse, Susan Ball. Randall was preceded by his parents, Kenneth and Joan Ball.
Celebration of Life will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a toast and sharing of memories at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Acola Coffee.
