She graduated from Centralia High School in 1968 and married her high school sweetheart, Jon Edward Mechlin on January 25, 1969, in Centralia. He preceded her in death on May 26, 2019.

Becky is survived by her children, Juli Hackethal of Centralia, Jon Mechlin, Jr. of Moberly, Janee Hinds and husband Chris of Centralia; grandchildren, Shelby Banks and husband Travis of Hallsville, Laci Milner of Centralia, Brittany Gorczyca of Columbia and husband Calvin, Kaili Gramke and husband Jake of Centralia, Jeff Milner of Centralia, Kade Hinds of Centralia, Rafe Mechlin of Centralia, Austin Mechlin of Centralia; great-grandchildren, Noah Banks, Dawson and Kayson Gramke; sister, Bobbie Slais and husband Dan of Lebanon.

Along with her husband, Jon, Becky was preceded in death by her parents, and a son-in-law, Andy Hackethal.

Becky enjoyed remodeling her old Victorian dream home that she worked on for many years.  She was also very artistic, enjoyed crafting and loved to crochet, but her greatest joy came from the time spent with her grandchildren, family and friends.

Becky called herself ornery, but she was truly a kind happy soul that never complained.
