Rebecca Lynne “Becky” Robinson, 71 of Sturgeon, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024, at her home.

Family and friends are invited to Becky’s Life Celebration 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at the Sturgeon Christian Church, with burial to follow in the Mt Horeb Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the Sturgeon Christian Church.

Becky was born on November 18, 1952, in Springfield, IL the daughter of William and Ruth (O’Bannon) Harrison.

On September 4, 1971, in Sturgeon, Becky married Johnny Robinson and he survives of the home.

Along with her husband, Johnny, Becky is survived by her children, Ira Robinson of Sturgeon, Diana Potter (Jeff Carney) of Sturgeon, Melanie Smith (Michael) of Sturgeon; grandchildren, Cooper Smith, Devin Smith, Brooks Potter, Leona Robinson and Hadlee Hendren; siblings, Bill Harrison, Jr. (Marty) of Kansas City, Debbie Blakemore (Paul) of Sturgeon, Rhonda Dawson (Steve) of Sturgeon, Austin Harrison (Susie) of Sturgeon, John Harrison (Patti) of Hutto, TX; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Littrell, and Sherril Roberts.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Stuart Harrison.

Becky was a faithful and active member of Sturgeon Christan Church, where she served as an elder and as a member of the Searchers Group. She was a very active member of her community, receiving the award for Citizen of the year in 1991, and was past president of the Sturgeon Chamber of Commerce. In 2019 Becky received the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Sturgeon Chamber of Commerce.

Becky was a girl scout leader, and a charter member of the Sturgeon Booster Club.

Wedding planning was a great passion for Becky, along with making wedding and birthday cakes. She was very talented at knitting, quilting and crafting. She made between 300-400 prayer shawls that were blessed at the Sturgeon Christian Church and given away. Becky would make crafts for Christmas and Easter events in Sturgeon. Christmas was her favorite time of the year.

Becky loved to watch sports, especially when her grandchildren were playing. She truly loved and cherished her grandchildren.  Becky and Johnny were team host for high school basketball teams at the MSHSAA final four for many years.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Sturgeon Christian Church Searchers Christmas Adopt a family program or the Mt. Horeb Cemetery Maintenance Fund and may be sent in care of Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home 104 S. Collier St. Centralia, MO 65240.
