Shelia Sublett, 67, Harrisburg, MO passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 25, 1956, in West Plains, MO the daughter of the late Bobby and Donna (Phelps) Atkins. On June 8, 1974, she was united in marriage to Steve Sublett.
In addition to her husband Steve of 49 years, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons Stephen Scott Sublett of Columbia, MO and Josh Sublett and his wife Morgan of Sturgeon, MO; three brothers Tony Atkins and his wife Phyllis of Harrisburg, MO, Ronnie Atkins and his wife Lori of Centralia, MO and Bobby Atkins of Winona, MO; one sister Connie Creason and her husband Deano of Harrisburg, MO; six grandchildren Brendon Sublett, Alexis Sublett, Valerie Sublett, Eastan Sublett, Austyn Anderson, and Cameron Sublett; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends.
Shelia worked for the Boone County Prosecutor’s Office as a witness coordinator and director for 30 years. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, going to the river, and spending time with her friends and family, especially all of her grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Mt.
