William C. “Bill” Faulks, 79, Eldon, MO passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022, at the SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City, MO. He was born April 1, 1943, in Waukegan, IL the son of the late Herbert and Marianne (Walsh) Faulks. On July 31, 1965, he was united in marriage to Phyllis (Gunnar) Faulks.
In addition to his wife Phyllis of 56 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter Michelle Oliver and her husband Ken of Salina, KS; one son Matthew Faulks and his wife Diana of St. Louis, MO; one brother Jim Faulks and his wife Joyce; five sisters Kathy Rafferty and her husband Mike, Karen Faulks, Jeanie Neubert and her husband Fred, Patty Bennett and her husband Bruce and Peggy Frihart and her husband Tom; three grandchildren Brady, Logan and Henry; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, one sister Libby Faulks and his grandson Connor Mox Oliver preceded him in death.
Bill owned and operated his own businesses for many years. Later he owned a vending company and was known as the “Candy Man”. He was an Eagle Scout and was a member of the Shriner’s Club in Iowa. He enjoyed working, going to the Lake of the Ozarks, boating, and spending time with his family. Bill was always on the go and enjoyed visiting with all the people he met along the way.
